Privacy Policy

grAppe makes mobile apps and games. This studio-wide policy explains, in plain language, what our apps and games collect, why, and who it's shared with. It applies to all grAppe apps, including Pulso, Afterburn and Pixel Breaker.

Each app also has its own privacy policy (the one linked from its store listing): Pulso · Afterburn · Pixel Breaker. Where an app's own policy differs, that policy wins for that app.

The short version

What we collect & why

Account & display name (games with leaderboards). You're identified only by an anonymous account ID and a display name you choose: your Game Center nickname, or a name you type if you play without Game Center. We never receive your real name, email address, or any contact details.

Scores & game progress. In games with leaderboards, your best score and progress are submitted so you can be ranked against other players. Pulso has no accounts and keeps no scores.

Approximate location (leaderboard games). To place you on local boards (city, region, country, continent), the game determines your approximate location:

If neither is available, your score competes on the worldwide board only.

Location in Pulso. Pulso's map is always centred on the Aburrá Valley, not on you. If you allow it, the app takes one reading of your location to suggest your zone: the zone name is kept on your device and the coordinate is discarded immediately. There is no continuous tracking, no background use and no history. You can decline and still use every layer of the app.

Ads

Pulso shows no ads at all. Our games may show occasional full-screen ads between runs/sessions, served by Google AdMob. We keep them light and frequency-capped, and they never appear during active play.

We don't track you across apps. Our apps and games do not request App Tracking Transparency permission and do not use your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for cross-app tracking, so ads are non-personalized and you won't get a "tracking" prompt.

EU/UK consent. Before showing ads to players in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we present Google's consent form. You can accept or refuse. If you refuse, no ads are shown to you.

In-app purchase

Some games offer an optional, one-time purchase that removes all ads forever. Purchases are handled by Apple's App Store. We never see or store your payment details. To remember your purchase across devices, we store a single flag in your own private iCloud (Apple's key-value storage). That flag lives in your iCloud account, not on our servers.

Technical & diagnostic data

Our apps use Google Firebase for crash reports, performance monitoring and aggregate usage analytics, so we can find bugs and understand what to improve. None of it contains anything you type, and none of it contains your location or anything derived from it.

In Pulso you can turn usage analytics off entirely in Settings → Privacy. Crash reports stay on, so a crash you hit can still be fixed.

Third-party services

Our apps rely on a small number of services. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:

What we don't do

Where your data is stored

The data we store (your leaderboard entries and anonymous account, where a game has them) is hosted on Google Firebase servers located in the European Union.

Keeping & deleting your data

Leaderboard entries are kept so the rankings stay meaningful. If you'd like us to delete your data, email afterburn.game@gmail.com and we'll remove your entries.

Children's privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above will reflect any change.
